Alliance presents Presidential and Agent awards
La Verne, Calif., Oct. 16, 2006—The Alliance of Insurance Agents and Brokers has presented awards to two of its most distinguished and dedicated members.
Joe Jimenez, owner of CSI Insurance Services Inc., of Garden Grove, Calif., has received the Presidential Award of Excellence. Scott Moon, owner of Dynamite Insurance Brokerage, of Santa Clarita, Calif., has received the Agent of the Year Award.
Both awards were presented at the Alliance’s Convention and Expo, held Sept. 27 – Oct. 1 in Indian Wells, Calif.
The award to Jimenez recognizes him as a “member whose dedication and vision and professionalism exemplify the spirit of this association.”
“Joe has worked tirelessly for the members of this association,” said Alliance President Gary Jensen, owner of Fox Insurance Services, of Camarillo, Calif., who presented the award. “As chair of the New Products and Services Committee, he has helped bring new products to the membership. He also holds four membership meetings: the local Orange County and Rancho Cucamonga in English meetings in both English and Spanish.”
The Alliance’s award to Moon, “gratefully acknowledges his dedication and extraordinary efforts in the promotion of the highest level of integrity, professionalism and ethical standards on behalf of his peers, the industry and the Alliance.”
“Scott dived into the job on the Board of Directors and has single-handedly created a fantastic member meeting in the San Fernando Valley,” said Phil Munguia, owner of Best Deal Insurance, of South Gate, Calif., and Alliance Board member, Executive Committee member and local meeting chair.
“He has also helped to organize other member meetings and mentored other meeting chairs to foster the growth of these important gatherings throughout the state,” said Munguia, recipient of last year’s award. “This is an inspiration award. And Scott Moon is an inspiration to others.”
